We Are Cities Roundtable

The Hamilton Chamber, through its Renew Hamilton project and in cooperation with Evergreen CityWorks, will host a local We Are Cities roundtable event on March 11 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Hamilton Central Library in downtown Hamilton.

We Are Cities is a new campaign to engage Canadians across the country to shape a vision and action plan for how we can build livable cities.

The goal is to ensure that our urban centres receive recognition and resources commensurate with their role in driving national prosperity and quality of life. The Hamilton roundtable – which will help document Hamilton’s contributions as a dynamic midsize city in a growing region – is among similar events planned for February and March throughout Canada.

“We’re excited to see Hamiltonians stand up for cities,” said Chamber president and CEO Keanin Loomis. “We all benefit when our cities work.”
