Here’s a seven minute audio recording from this year’s Hamilton Economic Summit hosted by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.

It features remarks by Gary Graham, board chair of McMaster Innovation Park and past co-chair of the Hamilton Economic Summit, on the innovation process and need for the community at large to encourage and support local entrepreneurs.

Graham also provides a brief history lesson on the accomplishments of George Westinghouse, the driving force behind the Westinghouse facilities that originally occupied the lands at McMaster Innovation Park.

“That beautiful Atrium Building at McMaster Innovation Park was created using capital from innovations developed by Mr. Westinghouse,” said Graham, noting the ongoing evolution of technology-based entrepreneurship in our city from age to age.
